Studying for the GMAT

So I have the Official Guide for GMAT Review and a Kaplan book. This is a REALLY boring way to spend a Saturday. But I took a practice test when I first started and realized that I have a lot of work to do. I can already tell that I am getting better in some areas (like Data Sufficiency), so it's paying off, I guess. Based on my practice score and how I'm feeling now, I think a 700 is a good target for me to aim for...

I really understand what are you saying because i also spent the saturday -and the sunday- with the wonderful OG :)

Just know that you are not alone. I have spent my weekend studying for the GMAT and I plan to spend every weekend until the end of June studying. I am also aiming for a 700.
